(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Before the written revelation, the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him saw real and true dreams up to six months. After those six months, the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him went in a cave namely Hira at mount Noor nearby his home and started there to pray before Allah in loneliness. On seventeenth Ramazan on Monday, the Angel Jibraeel came into the cave before the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him and said with a great respect, "Read". The Prophet replied that he could not read. The Angle Jibraeel requested three times the same word "Read" but did not get response. Then the Angel Jibraeel touched his chest to the chest of the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him and then recited first five verses of Chapter Al-Alaq-96 of the Holy Quran. Then the Prophet started to recite the revealed verses of the Holy Quran and memorized them. This first verse of this chapter is the starting revelation to the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him. (Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Allah has taught human being to write by pen. So that we can preserve the truer real revealed verses of the Holy Quran and secure these perfectly. This verse tells us that pen is a great creation of a human being from Allah. Pen is the basic thing which causes the inheritance of the written Holy and sacred revealed verses and books towards the next generation. The first Prophet Adam wrote on leaves of the trees. His grandson Idrees wrote the revealed verses on the pieces of stone and bricks. Then this knowledge of writing revealed verses was transferred and inherited towards other pious persons, scholars and saints of Allah.

5- Taught man what he knew not.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
