Global Arms Trade and Human Welfare

ARMS TRADE AND HUMAN WELFARE
Why are the world's leading countries are spending money to purchase arms but not for human welfare?
According to the latest report by Sipri, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, the US headed list of top 10 arms buyers last year, spending $661bn on military equipments. It was followed by China (spending an estimated $100bn), France ($63.9bn), Britain ($58.3bn), Russia (an estimated $53.3bn) and Japan ($51.8bn).
The global financial crises have had little impact on military budgets. Last year, $1.5tr was spent on weapons, an annual increase in real terms of 5.9 percent according to report by Sipri.
The super powers of the world are trying to defend their boundaries of the countries. They should have to work for the welfare of the poor people. But they are not even acting upon the agenda of UNO to eliminate poverty from the world.
I want to receive the comments of the common internet users on this topic. Kindly share this small article at various websites and this should be followed by most of the internet users all over the world.

Quranic Explanation of first revelation Al-Alaq-96 from Quran

(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
Explanation of Holy Quran Chapter-96, Part-30, Al-Alaq (The Clot of Blood) the first revelation from Quran
Revealed at Mecca, 1 Section and 19 Verses
Allah in the name of Most Affectionate, the Merciful.
1- Recite with the name of your Lord Who created,
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Before the written revelation, the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him saw real and true dreams up to six months. After those six months, the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him went in a cave namely Hira at mount Noor nearby his home and started there to pray before Allah in loneliness. On seventeenth Ramazan on Monday, the Angel Jibraeel came into the cave before the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him and said with a great respect, "Read". The Prophet replied that he could not read. The Angle Jibraeel requested three times the same word "Read" but did not get response. Then the Angel Jibraeel touched his chest to the chest of the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him and then recited first five verses of Chapter Al-Alaq-96 of the Holy Quran. Then the Prophet started to recite the revealed verses of the Holy Quran and memorized them. This first verse of this chapter is the starting revelation to the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him. This verse gives commands to the human being to read the revelation of Allah (God or Lord). It is the first duty of every human being to read this revealed book "Quran". The reading of Quran gives the benefits to the people. People gain worldly and religious heavenly knowledge from this book. The reading of this book brings a good change in the life of the reader. (Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
2- He made man from the clot of blood,
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Allah has created you and all human beings with a clot of blood. Nowadays in this scientific period, we know that human blood consists of three major particles, WBCs (White Blood Corpuscles or Cells), RBCs (Red Blood Copuscles or Cells) and Platelets. Blood is essential for movement, function and work in each part of body. This second verse of Quran gave the research to medical science to know about blood. This verse also tells that Allah is the Only Power Who had created a man on this earth. Nobody could create a human being except Allah. The first human on the earth Adam was created by Allah from the clot of blood.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
3- Recite, for your Lord is the Most Generous,
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Read and recite the Holy Quran smoothly for you Lord (Allah) Who is the Most Generous, Kind and Openhanded. This verse tells us that we should recite the Holy Quran with slow speed so that we can understand it along with reading.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
4- Who taught writing by pen.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Allah has taught human being to write by pen. So that we can preserve the truer real revealed verses of the Holy Quran and secure these perfectly. This verse tells us that pen is a great creation of a human being from Allah. Pen is the basic thing which causes the inheritance of the written Holy and sacred revealed verses and books towards the next generation. The first Prophet Adam wrote on leaves of the trees. His grandson Idrees wrote the revealed verses on the pieces of stone and bricks. Then this knowledge of writing revealed verses was transferred and inherited towards other pious persons, scholars and saints of Allah.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
5- Taught man what he knew not.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Allah taught the names of things and parts of body to his first Prophet Adam directly through revelation. Then He transferred this knowledge to his offspring. This knowledge was later on divided into different parts and sections, like science, arts, astrology, geology, law and other many sub-divisions.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
6- Yes, undoubtedly, man transgresses.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Allah told the people that a man do wrong, misbehaves, disobeys and breaks the rules of pious life when he knows the wide knowledge and learn more about anything. But pious men and the Prophets of Allah do not behave in such a manner. Only the infidels and proud persons behave rudely. So this verse tells the Holy Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him not to be rude after learning the revealed verses but tell these verses to the other people and command them to work for the welfare of human being as ordered by Allah.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
7- Because, he thought himself self sufficient.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
This verse tells us that a man after gaining some knowledge thinks that he could be able do all things. But he can't do even those things perfectly in time which he plans to do in future. He starts to think that he needs nobody after gaining knowledge from books. But he actually needs the teachers and professors of the particular book that he is reading.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
8- Undoubtedly, unto your Lord is the return.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Every human being would have to go towards Allah after passing his worldly life. When he goes towards Allah after death, his heavenly life will start. If he believes in Allah in this world and read this last revealed Holy book "Quran" and acts according to the beliefs of this book, he will be forgiven and will be given awards in heaven. The infidels will not be given awards after death but they would be sentenced to different punishments explained in Quran at different places in various verses.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
9- Well, you see him who forbids.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
This verse was revealed to intimate the incident when the uncle of the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him Abu Jahel forbade the Prophet to offer prayer in Bait-ullah (Khana Kaba).
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
10- A bondman of Ours when he offers prayers.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
The Prophet continued his prayers when Abu Jahel came to forbid him but he could not reach near the Prophet and went back. He told the people that he felt and saw a huge distance between him and the Holy Prophet when he was offering prayers. Beside this during his prayers many strange birds were providing the Prophet protection and a huge tunnel of blown fire between him and the Prophet.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
11- Well, you see if he would have been on guidance,
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
This verse wishes that it would be very pleasant if Abu Jahel embraced Islam and help the Muslims. But Allah does not give guidance to infidels.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
12- Or he would have commanded piety, what a good thing it had been.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Allah tells us the status of Abu Jahel if he would embrace Islam that many people would enter into Islam because of him if he would join hands with the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him. He was the leader of his tribe. Hundreds of people would embrace Islam because of him if he would be on guidance. But he did not embrace Islam till his death even the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him offered him at his last moments of life but he refused to embrace Islam and to offer Kalma.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
13- Well you see if he belied and turned back, then what would be his condition.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
This verse points out the condition and position of punishment to Abu Jehal in the heaven after his death because he denied and refused to accept Islam. He refused to think that these revealed verses on the Holy Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him were true and were being revealed from the Only One Allah.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
14- Did he know that Allah is seeing?
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
But he (Abu Jahel) did not know that Allah is seeing all. Allah is present every where. Allah is Omnipresent. Allah knows the conditions and thoughts of every person.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
15- Yes, if he desisted not, We will assuredly drag him by catching his forelock hairs.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
It is sure that Abu Jahel (the uncle of the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him) will be punished badly in heaven. He will be dragged by catching his forehead hairs and be punished for the non acceptance of this true religion and for teasing the Prophet even he was the blood relative of the Prophet.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
16- Forelock of what type, lying, sinful.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
The foreheads of the persons who offer prayers are seen the mark of prayers and be seen beautiful. They would be given good heavenly rewards. The forehead of infidel Abu Jahel had no mark of prayers. So he was the sinful and lying. He always tried to tease the Prophet. He always made laugh at the Prophet.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
17- Now let him call his association.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
He could not get any help in heaven when he was being punished from his friends who were always ready to tease the Holy Prophet.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
18- Just now We call Our guards.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Allah will send his guards to call Abu Jahel before Him for asking questions and giving sentence to punishment. He will be throne into Hell but not in Jannah.
(Explained by Masood Bazmi Malik Qadri)
19- Yes, hear him not and prostrate and draw near to Us.
(Chapter Al-Alaq 96, Quran)
Explanation:
Allah give commands in this verse to the Holy Prophet to not afraid of Abu Jahel but offer prayer calmly without any afraid. The angels are the guards of you and the Bait-ullah (Kaba) so that you and all other Muslims could come ear Me (Allah) and offer prayers there in My home Bait-ullah (Kaba).
